Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CRV Apps handles information when you use ClipSave, including the ClipSave website at clipsave.ro, the ClipSave Android application, and the media-processing service used by ClipSave.
1. Information ClipSave processes
ClipSave is designed to work without requiring a ClipSave user account. Depending on how you use the service, ClipSave may process:
- Media links you submit. When you paste or submit a supported social-media URL, the URL is sent to ClipSave's processing service so that the available media can be resolved.
- Basic request and security information. Servers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or app user agent, timestamps, request status and rate-limit/security information when necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
- Clipboard content in the Android app. The app reads the clipboard only when you explicitly use Paste or when you enable the optional Auto Paste feature. Auto Paste is off by default.
- Media-library access in the Android app. The app may request permission to save downloaded media to your device's photo/video/audio library.
2. How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested download functionality, protect the service from abuse, troubleshoot failures, maintain reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Media processing and storage
ClipSave processes media on demand. We do not intentionally operate a permanent library of users' downloaded media. Media may be streamed or proxied through our processing infrastructure as needed to complete your request.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The initial ClipSave website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If analytics, advertising or other third-party SDKs are introduced later, this policy and the applicable consent/data-safety disclosures will be updated before or when those features are enabled.
5. Third-party platforms
ClipSave receives links to third-party platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. ClipSave is not affiliated with those platforms.
6. Data retention
Submitted links are processed to fulfill the request and are not intended to be kept as a user history on the server. Technical server records, if generated, may be kept for a limited period for security, reliability and troubleshooting and then deleted or rotated.
7. Security
ClipSave uses HTTPS for communication with its public processing service and applies reasonable technical measures intended to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
ClipSave is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the issue.
9. Your choices and requests
You can disable Auto Paste at any time in the Android app. You can also clear local app history from within the app. For questions about privacy or deletion of server-side information that may relate to you, contact us.
